Distributor Inventory Intelligence & Marketplace Automation Platform

The system a multi-distributor Amazon business runs on. It reads every supplier's feed, works out which listings are the same physical product, and produces marketplace-ready upload files with nobody touching a spreadsheet.

OVERVIEW

Reselling across many distributors means keeping an Amazon catalog accurate by hand. Every supplier publishes data in its own format, stock and cost change constantly, and the same product hides under a different identifier at each distributor. In practice that is a steady diet of spreadsheets, and the catalog is still always slightly out of date.

We built the platform that does the job instead. It pulls each distributor's feed on a schedule, lines the data up into one structure, recognizes when two suppliers are selling the same physical product, picks the cheapest one with stock, applies the seller's pricing rules, and writes out upload files Amazon will accept. The catalog stays current without anyone maintaining it.

THE PIPELINE

01

Feed synchronization

Continuously ingests each distributor's product feed so the catalog always reflects current supplier data.

02

Data normalization

Reconciles the different formats, units, and schemas every distributor uses into one consistent structure.

03

Product correlation

Identifies identical products across multiple suppliers and maps them to a single canonical catalog entry.

04

Inventory aggregation

Combines available stock across all mapped suppliers into a single, reliable availability figure.

05

Cost optimization

Automatically selects the lowest-cost in-stock supplier for every product on every update.

06

Pricing rules

Applies configurable pricing logic so marketplace prices stay accurate, profitable, and compliant.

07

Marketplace export

Generates marketplace-ready upload files, including compliant Amazon templates, automatically.

Product specification management

Price and stock are only half of a listing. Manufacturers also revise the details over time: titles, specifications, dimensions, weights, descriptions, compatibility notes.

When a distributor publishes revised product data, the platform folds those changes into the central catalog on the next sync. Listings stay consistent without anyone re-typing a spec sheet.

User interface

A catalog this size outgrows spreadsheets quickly, so the platform has its own interface for browsing it. It stays fast at that scale and is readable at a glance, with the full technical detail behind each product one click away.

Each product view puts the business picture and the technical one side by side, so the team can manage the catalog without ever touching the automation underneath.

Every product view shows, at a glance:

  • Product information
  • Mapped distributor relationships
  • Supplier pricing
  • Available inventory
  • Source distributor
  • Cost comparisons
  • Marketplace export values
  • Product specifications

Scalability

Adding a distributor does not mean re-engineering anything. Each supplier's quirks live in its own set of parsing rules; the rest of the pipeline never changes.

That is what lets the supplier network grow without the operation growing with it.

The software puts no practical ceiling on the:

  • Distributors it can ingest
  • Products in the catalog
  • Suppliers mapped to a single product
  • Marketplace exports it can generate

OPERATIONAL BENEFITS

  • Inventory processing that used to be manual now runs itself
  • Every distributor managed from one interface
  • The cheapest in-stock supplier chosen automatically, on every update
  • Fewer pricing and stock errors reaching the marketplace
  • Amazon-compliant upload files generated without hand-editing
  • The catalog grows without the headcount growing with it
  • One source of truth for inventory, pricing, and product data

CONCLUSION

The platform is less a database than the operating layer of the business: the thing that decides what is in stock, what it costs, and what the marketplace should say, day after day, without supervision.

What used to be a fragmented pile of supplier feeds is now one catalog that maintains itself, and the seller runs at a scale the old spreadsheet workflow could never have kept up with.
